KE Excellence Award (University Level)

The KE Excellence Award at the university level was introduced in 2015/16. The Faculty KE Awards (and KE Award [Non-Faculty Unit] where applicable) form the basis for selection of the KE Excellence Award. Typically only one award will be made every year. The KE Excellence Award will be presented at the University’s annual Award Presentation Ceremony for Teaching, Research and KE.

Faculty KE Awards and KE Award (Non-Faculty Unit)

The Faculty KE Awards were introduced in 2011 in order to recognize each Faculty's outstanding KE accomplishment that has made demonstrable economic, social or cultural impacts to benefit the community, business/industry, or partner organizations. Individual Faculties have the flexibility to decide whether to conduct a Faculty KE Award exercise in a particular year, taking into account the Faculty's KE developments. Only one Award may be made by each participating Faculty in a year. The KE Award (Non-Faculty Unit) was introduced in 2012 for the independent centres, institutes and units of the University, and the exercise is normally held on a biennial basis.
