Abstract:
The speaker is often approached by media for giving statements on earth science-related issues and guest-hosted several television programmes that were intended both to inform and entertain the public. Over this KE lunch, he would share his experience and insights with working with the media. The particulars of his talk include:
(1) Tricks and traps with giving media statements and doing the docutainments,
(2) Preparation for the television docutainment programmes,
(3) Experience working with production crews and TV characters,
(4) Docutainments as the most powerful KE resources.
