KE Excellence Award and HKU Innovator Award 2021

The university-level KE Excellence Award was introduced in 2015-16 to recognise outstanding KE accomplishment that has made significant economic, social, environmental or cultural impacts to benefit the society.

Recognising innovations is equally important to spur sharing of innovations with the broader community.  Introduced in 2020-21, the HKU Innovator Award aims to recognise outstanding Faculty members whose innovations demonstrate exceptionally high potential impact (legacy or projected legacy) with transformative results to foster development.  

The recipients for these awards this year are as follows:
